Krysia Lukkason is a fine art photographer from Santa Rosa, California. Krysia draws inspiration from the landscape as she explores themes regarding the human condition, the duality of life, and relationships with our internal and external environments. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Geography from California State University, Fullerton, which informs her artistic view and approach to the various ways our environments can be perceived and understood.
In 2023, Krysia was selected in the top 50 of Photolucida's Critical Mass. Krysia’s projects have been featured in Black & White Magazine and included in Shots and F-Stop Magazines publications. Her work has also been included in a number of group and juried exhibitions at Los Angeles Center of Photography, Atlanta Photography Group, PhotoPlace Gallery, SE Center for Photography, and PH21 Gallery. She has received awards with New York Center for Photographic Arts, Chicago Photography Classes, and Maine Media Workshops.
Krysia currently lives outside Atlanta, Georgia with her partner, Chris Freilich, and their stout cat, Nibbler.
