Wilding the Tame (ongoing)

Plants find a way to survive. No matter how we cover, pave, build, fence, or fight against it, plants find their way to live. Weathered cracks in the pavement, root systems stronger than the asphalt, or vines moving up a building, our attempts to control nature are futile without maintenance. Nature is the proverbial turtle in the race between it and the human attempt to control it. This project explores one tiny aspect of life finding a way through seed dispersion, root systems, cracks, and climbers in urban environments.
